Ceramics Annual of America,
Writing and Such

Being open to take on new opportunities can be a great experience if you look at it as a chance to learn something new. After cranking out my thesis (officially some time ago) at the end of my MFA work, I realized, “I can write” (spelling still an issue). When a great opportunity came up for me to cover a story for Ceramics Monthly Magazine I took that opportunity. Above is the result. Special thanks to Liz Howe, one of those people who always pops into my life at punctuated times with a bit of wisdom and I always appreciate it. Really enjoying her new work and that she is doing plenty of shows. Special thanks to the crew at Ceramics Monthly for making the process a great one and especially for the opportunity to write about mud!
